January 2021 Newsletter
Happy New 2021 🎊🎉👑
I am grateful for another year of new possibilities. Through God All Things Are Possible!!! This Newsletter is filled with a ton of information on skin care. We are most definitely what we eat and what we put on our skins.
Pre-Workout Skincare
- Before you start your workout, wash your face to remove any makeup. When you sweat, your pores open, and if you're wearing makeup, the combination of sweat and oil can clog your pores. This can cause unwanted breakouts.
- Carry disposable makeup removing wipes in your gym bag.
- If you'll be exercising outdoors, be sure to apply an even layer of sunscreen. Choose a broad spectrum sunscreen with SPF of 15 or higher and use as directed.
- Keep your hair off your face. It’s best to keep it pulled back and away from your face during a workout. This helps prevent oils and any hair products you used that day from clogging your pores and cause breakouts
Post-Workout Skincare
- Avoid wiping sweat away from your face with your hands. This can introduce bacteria and dirt into your open pores and lead to a breakout. Instead, carry a clean gym towel and use it to pat your face and neck dry.
- Get out of your sweaty clothing. Wearing it too long post-workout can lead to clogged pores.
- Wash your face as soon as possible. Once your face is clean, follow-up with toner and then use a moisturizer to re-hydrate your skin
- Use ice to reduce post-workout redness.
- If you’re someone who gets easily flushed after working up a sweat, grab some ice and suck on it. If you suck on a piece of ice, there’s a temperature receptor on the hard palate of the mouth and it almost resets all the flushing and blushing in your face.
Our Featured Must have Book is
Barack Obama
A Promised Land. I was so excited when I saw this book at the airport on my way to California. It was a birthday for myself. I love the way Mr. Obama explains his path and triumphs towards destiny. This book is a must have for sure!!!
